I provide psychotherapy and counseling services in San Francisco to adults, ranging in age from young adults to seniors. I offer both short-term and long-term services.
I strive to create a safe, respectful and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore and express themselves. I use a variety of methods to help clients achieve their goals, emphasizing cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, as these have proven to be effective in both my practice and in formal research studies.

This approach helps clients cultivate an increased ability to “live in the present,” which I believe is a key component of psychological well-being. Living in the present - in the here and now - generates a sense of inner peace, regardless of external circumstances. It also allows individuals to draw on their inner strengths and inherent intelligence.
When individuals function with greater intelligence and inner peace, they are more effective on a personal and professional level. This translates into more satisfaction and success in key areas of one’s life, such as relationships, work/career, family, health, education and recreation.

My office is conveniently located in the financial district of downtown San Francisco, easily accessed by BART (equidistant from Montgomery and Embarcadero stations) and MUNI. Please go to my contact page for more details.
Psychotherapy and counseling services are provided in-person in my San Francisco office. Home visits for therapy and counseling can be provided to seniors who face significant transportation barriers, on a case-by-case basis.
